What is Stress Indicator Point System (SIPS)?
SIPS kinesiology was created by Ian Stubbins in 1992 in Australia. SIPS utilizes the 7 aura layers of the Chakra system and approximately 3000 meridian points on the body. It can be used as a stand-alone system or in combination with other modalities to improve the effectiveness of the systems. SIPS addresses the emotional, mental, physical, spiritual, and etheric levels of our energy field to promote healing and homeostasis. SIPS is widely used in clinics in Europe, Canada and the United States.
Primitive and Postural Reflexes
Primitive reflexes are involuntary motor responses within the brainstem and are present after birth. Examples are snout reflex, sucking, and rooting facilitate survival of the newborn. The sucking reflex must coordination with breathing and swallowing. The snout reflex produces a pucker to the lips after pressure is applied to the upper lip. The rooting reflex is noticed in response to light stroking of the cheek.
When primitive reflexes fail to integrate within the expected timeframe, they can interfere with the development of postural reflexes, which are necessary for balance, coordination, and higher-level learning. Stress Indicator Point System uses kinesiology and the meridian system to balance the body and integrate the reflexes.
Stress Indicator Point System (SIPS) opens the pathways in the brain to allow the reflexes to function correctly. SIPS Reflex balances touch on 17 primitive reflexes and 12 postural reflexes.
